You are here: Mzansinews ANC disband Youth League
The youth wing of the African National Congress has been disbanded by the mother body under the new Mangaung administration elected last December.
This renders the youth league non existence from now going forward, kuyaqala nqa ukuba the youth league in the new dispensation has been disbanded. The Mangaung administration, ayisthengi iskelm.
Lowo ebebambe nje ngomameli uRonald Lamola obesandula kuzimanya ngeqhina lomtshato must be having a torrid first month of his life as a hitched man. Kaloku eligatyana lofafa lomfana wakwa-Lamola watyunjwa ukuba akhokele lombutho to fill the void left by former president, motor mouth Juju Malema who was expelled last year. Malema is now facing the tax fraud charges and has seen his items auctioned by SARS. Ke mathatha fela kuJuju.
Last year the youth league was very vocal going into the electoral gathering in Mangaung. It opposed the re-election of Msholozi and preferred his deputy, Kgalema Monthlathe. Monthlathe subsequently lost the election for ANC presidency to Zuma and was then replaced at deputy presidency by ngunyana wolahleko walombutho, Cyril Ramaphosa.
It appears that this was an uncalculated stance taken by the youth league, ngoku they are paying the price for going against the tide. The new ANC administration has decided to disband the unruly young lions until further notice.
Esisigqibo sithathwe nguKhongolose is likely to be challenged by the many political commentators and the opposition is likely to welcome it. Many a times the DA had called on president Zuma to reign in on the youth league.
The disbanded leadership of the youth league hasn’t issued a statement yet. Young lions are supposedly a mouth piece of the young people.
Julius Malema has always maintained that the ANC under Zuma is anti youth league. He once accused Zuma of being a dictator, ulawula lombutho owakhupha inkokheli ezsibala kuzo oMadiba, Tambo kwakunye noChief Albert Luthuli ngegqudu.
Interesting times we live in eMzansi kulamalanga, kuzakutsha unobathana!
