You are here: Mzansinews Union Building Goes Sticky Yicky Yicky
The presidential residence ePitoli has a new plant growing up nicely just outside, dagga.Lomthi wentsango is already over a metre long. The late Bob Marley is probably smiling in his grave. It is growing at rapid pace too. If they don’t do anything about it, by the end of this week it should be about two metres tall LOL. Dagga is a stubborn plant. Once demolished, it grows at a fast and furious rate and doubles in size. So what do we do about it?
Rastas and those that make use of it say it should be legalized. Peter tosh even made a song called Legalise it, obviously talking about his beloved ganja.
This dagga news could delight a few Mzansians. Dagga decided to go introduce itself to the president
It seems that dagga itself is sick and tired of being an outlaw in a free society. It wants its voice to be heard too.
Recently a field of the weed was found in Pretoria. It looks like dagga in Pretoria is tjatjatrag. Lately it grows just everywhere. Who would have expected it to grow apho kutyikityhwa khona umthetho. Foreign dignitaries visiting would be in shock if they ever see the tree.
Of course those from the Netherlands would not be as they have seen it all before. In that country one can smoke dagga. In Mzansi, they still jail people for having a zol.
Supposedly there are people working at the gardens in the Union Buildings. Why have the gardeners allowed the tree to grow? Is this the first dagga tree to be seen growing at this place
Could this be a sign of things to come? Perhaps sooner or later the government is going to drop a bomb on us and announce something about dagga.
