Technology titan Samsung has unveiled two new tablet devices in London.The Ativ Q is the more innovative device, being a convertible tablet/laptop with a slider form factor.However, the Ativ Q also stands out thanks to its ability to run Android and Windows 8.
Samsung's new machine will also let users run Android apps within Windows 8, allowing users to pin Android programs to the Microsoft Start screen.
Hardware-wise, the Ativ Q is a powerful machine, running a version of Intel's new Haswell processor, 4GBs of RAM, 128GB solid-state drive and a 3200x1800 display.
People looking for something less expensive can opt for the Ativ Tab 3, a Windows 8 tablet sporting a 1366x768 screen, Intel Atom processor and 2GBs of RAM.
